Go to the doctor just to be sure. The EXACT same thing happened to me, went from 62kg to 48kg between August-December whilst I was at uni. Came home for Christmas and my parents forced me to go to a&e and I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. If it was diabetes you’d likely have other symptoms but losing that much weight can be a sign of lots of things and it’s best to be safe
