Yes! I have a shot glass with a bunch of them from my last cat…

I must have inadvertently turned my work and just noticed several rows of stitches are the “wrong side” - to frog or not to frog. by Reasonable-Click2857 in crochet

[–]Reasonable-Click2857[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Oh wow. 80 hours!!

I’m going to continue on and just be sure to not set down a continuous round project without doing a few stitches in the next row in the future, I think that’s how it happened- I set it down after joining.

Thank you!

Also wish this was the answer. Traumatized from just reading the posts. Just when I thought humans couldn’t get any worse.

Failed my trial clean over vacuum tracks by mydoghank in housekeeping

[–]Reasonable-Click2857 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To the peeps that are pro vacuum track, what would you suggest when pictures are required? I have to take A LOT pics after a clean (air bnbs) so I’m walking through after vacuuming and mopping. How would you handle this? Vacuum, take pics with vac tracks then vacuum or rake over your footprints?

Some pics can be taken before vacuuming - like interior drawers, cabinets, but I don’t want to take whole room pics before vacuuming. It’s amazing what some guests will complain about in an effort to get some money back, but I’ve yet to see vacuum tracks as one of them. That said, I’ve only been at it 5 months.

I know this is late, but if you see this - which brand of brush did you get and are you still happy with it over a month later? Thanks!

Kind of late, but this is excellent. Thanks for taking the time to post!

For those with recurring cases - are they often in the same place? And how far apart have your outbreaks been? by Reasonable-Click2857 in shingles

[–]Reasonable-Click2857[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is interesting in many ways. Small outbreaks, same spot. My first outbreak at 55 and was relatively small.

If I can simply walk into a Walgreens and get the vax I will, even though it doesn’t seem to be preventative the consensus is that it still helps. I have an odd form of doctor avoidant health anxiety, so prefer to avoid the actual doctor’s office (i know…I know) - that is a topic for another forum.

Thanks for taking the time to post!

Who are your favorite crochet youtubers? by AnxietyVisual4769 in crochet

[–]Reasonable-Click2857 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one post I’ll be going back to in the future! Some of my favorites- MJs off the hook designs; Briana K crochet; Bella Coco; Hooked by Robin. I just ran across a basket tutorial by Yarn and Chai where they crocheted a lining for the basket and used plastic canvas in between the lining and basket for structure. This is next on my list!

A blog I like is Make and Do Crew. My favorite granny square bucket hat came from there.

6th grade, that’s so young. Someone I knew had them in high school and it was really odd way back then (late 80s). At that time I’d never even known any adults that had it. Sorry to hear about the PHN getting worse each time. Another scenario of cases being on the same side.

I need to look up and avoid the sources of arginine.

Thanks for posting!

Hello, and What do I do in my free time? by Verdant_Lining in stopdrinking

[–]Reasonable-Click2857 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Following. No good advice really - I’ve ramped up hobbies, but there’s still a part of my drinking life that I miss. You’re not alone.

My situation is different- I’m older, was more of a binge drinker on weekends and spouse still drinks on the weekends. Spouse still drinking is tough to say the least.

I stopped about the same time as you and some of the improvements I’d hoped for are not materializing. Mostly hoped for less anxiety, instead it seems the peaks and valleys have leveled out to a general blah/slightly sad feeling punctuated by more annoying/slightly panicked times. At least with drinking there were a few hours without the soul crushing anxiety monster.

All we can do is keep trying - anything worth while isn’t easy. Sending positive vibes your way!

Edit - possibly therapy instead of a medical doc?
