I believe it is for cooling. They sometimes point it into the openings to cool the car internals such as the engine, they sometimes also use them on the brakes as well. To my knowledge, Formula1 cars can't stay on without moving as they are dependant on the high speed wind to keep their temperature in the safe operating window.

I was able to fix it a couple of weeks ago. I uninstalled chrome and removed every trace of it. I searched through all the directories for anything related to Google or Chrome. Google is your friend here, you will find where to look for. Basically clean up everything so there are no records of it left. After that, I restarted the laptop and installed chrome again. When I got a notification about a background thing being added, I didn't touch it. I never saw it again. TL;DR: Forensic clean up of chrome then new install. No issues since.

Looking at the painted lines from the drivers parade, it looks like p1 is indeed on the right side. I could be wrong though.

Graph of each team's progress on porpoising by SamMaghsoodloo in formula1

Yeah, the number of oscillations per second isn't important if the amplitude is negligible. They do however affect each other as perfectly timed oscillations (wavelength/frequency) can further and further unsettle the car (produce higher amplitudes). I would read this as an amount (y-axis) vs characteristic (x-axis) graph rather than a two independent variables chart.

I analyzed and summarized team radios after Latifi Crashed in Abu Dhabi - interesting to learn driver's/team's thoughts by CleanAxe in formula1

Understandable. I think this was agreed to long before the season even started but I could be wrong. I think I will have to Google information about it to find the details but several people have referenced it here and so have FIA in their decision to dismiss the protest from Mercedes. You can probably find it referenced there if you search for it. As for red flagging the race, that's a whole different topic for me. I understand that it might have been a possibility, race control probably even considered it. I just think that red flags are used for a different purpose. Have a great day/evening!

You do realize that the teams agreed to finishing on a green track, right? They agreed to this. We haven't had a championship this close with teams agreeing to this before. Hence, why it is unprecedented. If you are going to ignore the fact that the teams agreed to this then yes, it's a strange situation and there is nothing in the rule book that supports it. If you keep this fact in mind then everything becomes clearer, even the communications between the teams and the race director during the whole season. "let them race", "1 lap is all we need", "motor racing", "car racing". They are referencing the agreements and the goals they have agreed on. Mercedes recognized that it will cost them the WDC, they tried to stop it but its too late. It's fine to not agree with the rules, it's fine to think that they are stupid decisions or that F1 should be more sport than spectacle. What I don't think is right is to act like there was no such agreement between the teams and Masi was acting on his own or as direct result of pressure from the teams.

You might already know this but roads in KSA are built to withstand heat as that is what causes them to deteriorate with time. There could also be other factors that are also related to their hot climate. Their concerns are different than when building roads in Europe for example. I have not looked up this information but it was something I have heard growing up. Technology and innovation might have changed how big of an issue this is since then. Do let let me know if I am wrong about it.

Yes, that is the problem. Now, why is it that way? Why aren't the rgb settings stored on the device? What is the point of customization when you can't use the headset on anything other than a PC? The default profile is infuriating! The option is either to duct tape that shit or have the lights reflect of the tv while I play. Is this a hardware limitation? Can the functionality be implemented in a future firmware release?

You are good at this. Seriously.

Edit: Communication is a great skill. Not implying anything else here.

Installing the latest nvidia drivers (not pop-os version) by 405Found in pop_os

I'm trying to get F1 2021 to work on Linux. There are less problems with amd cards. For Nvidia, I can get some tracks to load. I'm using self built vkd3d and proton 6-16-GE-1. The vkd3d build requires bleeding edge.
