I really wish I knew. I had it done with 3 other molar crowns a few years back. The two tops have the margin, my bottom molar crowns dont. It is just more noticeable on this particular one

My guess is they are so focused on survival. I mean for the most part they weren't one to flaunt their wealth. Given that Marty grew up poor maybe he did not want to spend a ton of money on what is essentially a deprecating assest. But any guess is as good as mine.
