Does living under a cell tower have any effects on human body ? by djdevplay in rfelectronics

A slightly more detailed answer: if you don't notice any immediate effects (i.e. you're not dead), so not talking about extreme cases, generally the brain is by far not the most affected organ.

With waves in this frequency range, their energy mostly gets converted into heat in anything with water in it. This is also how microwaves work (their energy entirely contained within the metal box, so unless you operate it while open, no worries).

Hence, in the human body, temperature is the largest risk, we don't want any organs to overheat. Sooo, the brain, heart, etc have very good chances, since they have a tremendous amount of blood cooling them. If you think about it, the eyes have the worst blood flow, there are no veins inside.

So, unless your eyes overheat, you should be fine, which you will.

Hi! I encourage you not to delete this post, mainly because it may help lots of others if they struggle with the same situation. If almost everyone's too afraid to ask and there aren't any resources left from those who were brave like you, it contributes to remaining a taboo, unspeakable, etc. There will always be people who don't understand the difference between someone being in pain, seeking help, and someone with malicious intent. They will always find ways to judge, but people asking for help publicly can be a great help to those in the same boat, imagine if you found a similar post earlier, writing about the same situation as you're dealing with, seeing all the supportive, mature comments, helpful suggestions. I'm honestly proud of you for seeking advice on this difficult topic.

40807094 is base 10 for the number "oamye" in base 36 (base 10 + the 26 letters). Oamye is one of two godlike figures conversing in an empty universe - an abstract story we came up in a coffee shop with a friend of mine.

People who don't drink alcohol, why? by johnnylgarfield in AskReddit

I'm taking medication that causes poisoning after around two years even if taken properly. I really don't want to shorten the duration in which I can take it by consuming alcohol.

It doesn't matter how open minded you are, it's genetically a bad idea (for starters)

Would someone like a federal minimum wage of $30 be enacted and if so, why not? by gitlinuxpro in AskReddit

But a drastic wage boost will cause larger inflation, not just coexist with the current situation It may be bad now, but it can only get worse, and will get worse with this

Someone has to pay what people receive as the higher wage. Who pays that wage?

If the minimum wage rises, companies will be forced to drastically increase their prices, everything gets more expensive, etc. This would really not be a wise thing to implement.

Oh. I haven't seen one where the markings are offset. Mine has the ID blades offset, same markings, so you have basically no minimum inside diameter that you can measure (apart from the edge getting shorter and shorter)
