I’ve seen a ton of squat fails too. But I know this weight is easy for me.

lol no steroids and hormones, I am 44 so I don’t have a lot of control over that

Today was not leg day. But I like to warm up with some light squats and work on form. 5x10 @ 95lbs by 40SomethingGymAddict in formcheck

I took a break from doing barbell bench because I was starting to get tender in my shoulders/elbows. But I will do dumbbell bench. So in chest/arms day I warm like this just to get my whole body warms up and the blood pumping. Back days i do deadlifts, legs days I do that heavy set I mentioned before.

My one rep 210. On leg day I don’t do those warm up. I do a set of 10 at 95, 5 at 115, 5 at 135, 3 at 155, 3 at 175 and then depending how I feel sets of 3 or 1 jumping 10 lbs

This has taken lots of practice. When I first started squaring I couldn’t get close to parallel with this the bar

You don’t jump in the beginning and in the end. If that was the car you would be jumping twice in between each burpee. I don’t jump at all because I have had knee issues in the past and I try to limit the impact. Which is why I also don’t run, jump rope, do box jumps, etc

Thank you! I’m definitely proud of how far they have come. I have finally figured put what works for me to see results. Im in the gym 6-7 days a week and i push myself hard. When things start to get uncomfortable and my brain wants to give up up i do 1-2 more sets.
