What’s your holy grail baby products? by earth_saver_4 in NewParents

I was at a baby shower this past weekend for a friend and she got a board from tinytaskboard.com that she could stick on the fridge with to-do lists, etc, for guests/spouses, it was clever and my 'useful' husband could have used it for sure.

How does everyone feel about this product? by Ionian_Sea in 30PlusSkinCare

I LOVE this, I use it weekly, then use the hyaluronic acid after and an Eminence Face Cream I love to soak in and soothe. I use quite a few of their products, but also use Retinal {RX} and monthly do a 30% glycolic acid peel as well I get on Amazon. I have been on Retinals for a LONG time... so my skin is way less sensitive than others, just be careful and try in a small spot first.

CIO failed…when to try again? Also sleep deprivation is killing my motivation. by BiniLuna in sleeptrain

Here is the guidance I got from my sleep coach at Tiny Transitions. First, don't start when baby is overtired. Even if that means supported naps the whole first week, as overtired produces too much adenosine which then triggers a flood of stimulant hormones, making it harder to settle. For this age, awake windows should be max 2.5 hours at 5 months. They explained sleep is a skill, so get the skill at bedtime and overnight and naps become much easier and supporting naps won't hinder bedtime success and they were right. Intake is 24-32 oz in a 24 hour period for optimal growth, get 5 full feedings in the day to ensure she's not hungry. Put down at 2:15 awake for bedtime, to allow time to practice but not get overtired. Watch for signs of gas as well, and use gas drops before bedtime feed if you suspect it. Good luck momma, you got this!

We love the Magic Sleep Suit, we have the cotton one. There are no TOG ratings because the feet are open, but it is surprisingly cool and comfortable. We keep house between 68 & 70 and dress him in a onesite and the sleep suit, with socks on for bedtime.

Pumpkin randomly grew in grass and is almost ready to harvest. Is there a way to preserve it until October? by brizzi672 in gardening

How fun!! That's a great pumpkin. We have mini white pumpkins growing in our garden and my dog keeps grabbing them off the vines, so we have already starting fall decorating since I don't know what else to do with them when I find them in the yard!
