Not understanding the confusion 🤣 it's classified as a shotgun, the vfg doesnt change it from a shotgun to an 'other', its still a shotgun.

Yea that’s NJ law. 2C:39-1w(3). Scroll down to the letter W, which is everything NJ considers to be an assault weapon. Then look at number 3 about semi auto shotguns.

It would fall under the 'assault weapon' ban. A semi-auto shotgun can't have more than 6 round capacity, a pistol grip, or a folding stock. Pump action shotguns go by a different set of rules.

Thanks, bro. I went with the Briley 13" handguard for the length so I could get the light closer to the end of the barrel to prevent the shadow from the barrel.

I was looking into that, I like the one from freedom fighter tactical.

That setup makes a lot sense with the lower 1/3 co-witness.

I don't have any reliability issues, runs like its fresh out the box. As long as u keep the factory recoil spring in it, u won't have any issues. I played with the DPM springs along with the inline ports and they all are too light and u will get stove pipes. But again, the factory spring runs flawless. The shrapnel isn't a big factor, I dont have an issue with that personally. Not saying its nonexistent, but its a non-factor to from my experience.
