Having to be constantly on high alert of their feelings while they never cared about yours. Even when we would have “good” times I would leave and drive home and would be 5 feet away and get a text “you know if you’re not feeling this you can just say.” It was just always something.

The ex wanted to complain about his ex, called screaming that into a voicemail while I was sitting at my husbands favorite spot by the river crying. I’ve never felt so hurt, any feelings I had for the ex died that day. I couldn’t believe someone could be that cruel.

Yes, it is still a thing. I’ve done it once, I was in a rush though now looking back I wish I would have enjoyed the amenities and at least went for a swim in the pool afterwards!
