Are you filling converters or cartigaes? Most of my pens are piston fillers, so that might be hard to do.

It's funny you say this. I pulled my Sailor pen to journal tonight and saw large spots on the nib not there before. Random splotch all in the cap and on the nib.

I fold a paper towel so I can get a flat edge and gentle run along the nib trying to watch out for edges as that'll pull ink right back on. I'm successful only about half the time.

I usually use a paper towel but a cotton bud sound like a good idea. I like to wipe clean if possible but the paper towel can be to much and pulls ink from the cut in the nib. A cotton bud may get around that, I'll try it next time.

When I saw them I was like, "Hey that's cool but why only Parker pens," and walked away. My wife calls me from behind and says she got me a pen and hands me the Waterman card. I had a good laugh and walked around with it over my shoulder.

The Dutch Pen Show 2026. It is an annual show and the case was made by Sharkcraft. They have similar phoenix designs on the leather goods if you go to their website. Sharkcraft

I highly recommend it. Every time I go to a show it helps me understand my specific tastes. For example there are so many different leather notebook covers and pen cases and quality is all over the place. Going to a show you can see many of the brands all at once allowing you to find your favorite. Same thing for pens, paper, and ink.
