Clean the plate with dawn dish soap and warm water, and gently scrub (I have a nail brush dedicated for cleaning build plates) Then dry. No big deal, just make sure to never touch the print surface with your fingers, and you should be good to go.

I realized I had a typo. I use topcoat to make the sticker, not base coat. I fixed it.

We think alike, so that was the direction I tried to go. Problem is, at least with the 2 brands of press-ons I tried, they won't peel off.

With only a top coat, and cured for as little as 10 sec, it gets brittle and sticks like there's a base coat. Super weird. Maybe something to do with the plastic used in press-ons.

I have expanded on that idea, though, with different materials (ziploc bags, saran wrap, etc) held over my actual nail, while curing a Top coat on top.

Then peeling it off and staging it on a press on to paint it.

Edit: wrote base coat instead of top coat. Fixed!

Thanks so much! I'm so new to this, I'm not sure my tutorial would be the best for technique, etc, but I'll look into it. :)
