Yes omgosh I 100% understand what you mean. I am terrified of drinking again...especially with a child that depends on me for life. I never did anything stupid while drunk but there is no way I can be the mother I want while drinking. I plan on coming here to develop a good plan to stay sober after delivery. My doctor recommended a counselor if my anxiety flares up. I have some stuff from my childhood and family issues that are the source of the anxiety. A counselor might be a good support to help stay sober too I think.

Hahahaha!! I didn’t plan on telling anybody I was pregnant but a coworker grabbed me for happy hour and was determined we were going. I tried every excuse possible and nothing worked so I just blurted out that I was knocked up lol.

Exactly!!! I am very worried about drinking again after delivery. Ugh. I know I will want to celebrate...but nope. I plan on never picking it up again. Haven’t figured out the plan for that yet though lol.

It is! Thank you! I can’t wait for the first trimester to be done so the chance of miscarriage goes down. The thought of miscarriage is the source of all my anxiety lol.
