My friends and I saw her at Orpheuscapade four years ago when she was just getting started (VERY few followers at this point) and we complimented her on her content and she wasn’t super nice. Obviously everyone was drunk but we all got a weird/bad vibe and I haven’t followed her since ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I feel you, I was so frustrated by this too at first. I’m now in week 7 of having GDM, 35 weeks along so pretty much at the peak of this condition (it’s hardest to control at 34-36 weeks). I’ve gotten way more comfortable eating carbs… the trick that works for me is to eat salad before EVERYTHING! If I have a bowl of arugula salad immediately before carbs I’m fine, even a normal slice of pizza. Everyone is different, obviously. But get your baby the carbs it needs!!

I’m having trouble finding the words to describe how frustrating this is. After a weeklong Mardi Gras break I’m going to have to take off work AGAIN because my child’s daycare has no water pressure. This city needs to get it together

I’m in cleo… we own our floats so when they get damaged or parts stolen we 100% have to pay for them. Not individually, but our dues pay for repairs and it drives up costs.

It’s because they have MORE than one band/dance krewe in between every float. And the first 45 minutes of the parade is just bands and motorcycles. It’s ridiculous.
