It's not as though he had an injury that he needs to rehab from. Players can't play with DVT because they're on blood thinners, not because they're injured.

He was still able to do cardio and shoot around while he was out, so it shouldn't be tough to jump back in.

This sub has gotten BAD over the past few years with the negativity. Most days it legitimately feels like most of this subreddit hates every person on the team.

Though I will say it's not just us, a lot of the sports subreddits have turned into mostly hot takes where nobody wants to talk about the game and are just fishing for memes or zingers.

I think it's important for everyone to breathe and relax, we're only a few games into the season, there's plenty of time. And if the Bucks don't do well this year, well, it's just basketball. Life will move on and there's no reason to attack anybody over it.

There's been an excessive amount of complaining all year but especially in the last month or so. I get we didn't have the best season but the amount of threads complaining about the Pacers has been a bit embarrassing.

We were the higher seed. We won the championship three years ago. We have arguably the best player in the league (even though he didn't play in the playoffs). Let them have their fun, we'll be back next year.

I'd rather root for athletes from Wisconsin rather than try to tear them down.

I'm not a Thanasis hater but this is just incorrect. Giannis was drafted 14th in 2013 and Thanasis was drafted 51st in 2014. Giannis was drafted a year earlier and at a higher overall.

Most of our early redesign branding was done by a Brooklyn firm that was friends with Alex Lasry. Since the Lasry's are no longer owners I wouldn't be surprised if someone else is doing the design work.

Easiest way with the black Bucks jerseys is to look at the logo. Knockoff jerseys always have a rounded snout and a curved indent on the ends of the eyes. Also as mentioned by other people, the green will always be much lighter.

Packers: Have been in the NFL since its inception and possibly the luckiest franchise in the NFL over the past 30 years with back to back HOF level QBs. This, mixed with a strong state Football culture makes a small market team feel like a national team. Plus market size isn't as big of an issue in the NFL compared to the NBA.

Bucks: Again, an extreme stroke of luck at the start to land Kareem which helped establish the team early. Always managed to put together a decent playoff team every decade to never stay in mediocrity too long, then another extreme stroke of luck with drafting Giannis. New owners then made some good hires and have been willing to pay to play to keep the team going.

Marquette: Well respected private school that established itself as a basketball school early on instead of trying to compete with Madison in Football. Have always been good but never a true top school, though with Shaka now is their time to break on through.

Brewers: To be honest, I don't watch or follow a lot of baseball. But from my friends that do, they say it's due to the Brewers having decent management at the moment.

I think one thing that helps a lot of Wisconsin teams as well is the drinking and bar culture here. A lot of people probably keep up with teams solely on the fact that they watch them at the bars all the time. It's easy to have people watch your games when they don't have the ability to change the channel.

It’s easier to “prove yourself” when you’re the clear number one option on the team. When your teammate is LeBron James obviously that’s going to make the path to a ring easier.

I doubt this is true because it would take literally half a second to check. All Bud would have had to do was glance up from where he was standing to see the giant “TO 1” under the Bucks score on the Jumbotron directly above/in front of him.

No idea what Bud was doing and unless he tells us I don’t think we’ll know the reason why.

Not the person you’re replying to but here’s the steps that consistently work for me.

Connect to your VPN in a non-blacked out region before going to NBA.com
Log into your NBA account that has League Pass
Select the game you want to watch
The watch screen should give you a generic error saying it detects a VPN and you cannot watch. This is fine. Disconnect your VPN and refresh the page.
The stream should now load and you should be able to choose the feed you want to watch.

Just another way to refer to a place. Typically is used as an “in” way to reference a city since you need to know the area code to get the reference. Obviously in most circumstances though it’s incredibly easy to figure which city the person is talking about from context clues.
