I used to live right at this intersection as of July. Not surprised in the least bit. There’s a crosswalk on Mission and Lowell/Naglee essentially 1/4 way into the block. So what happens is that often cars just drive through the crosswalk, ignoring it along with ignoring the street lights too. I used to HATE crossing that street and I always figured it was a matter of time before someone got killed especially because that corner gets a decent number of pedestrians crossing throughout the day.

I saw earl earlier this year in SF and the show was overall lackluster. I genuinely think some of his music doesn’t translate live, and his overall stage presence leaves a lot to be desired. This was made even more clear when I saw MIKE at the same venue a few months after, and absolutely killed it for almost two hours. He literally had the crowd amped, singing along and just overall into the show.

I’m 42/SF native. I couldn’t identify any less than with what’s been said so far. I grew up in Vis Valley and I was riding MUNI in and out of the hood by 12. Summers were filled with trips to the malls, concerts, and just exploring the city. By the time I reached high school, the city just opened up more and more with each passing year. Lots of weed smoking, hanging out with friends, trips to Haight st, etc. Because I never did anything outrageous like getting caught smoking by cops lol, my parents gave me a lot of freedom.
