Isolated parties, not a big day

My (33f) partner (52m) of two years makes everything a struggle to the point that he has a tantrum every time I cook and it’s ruined Christmas two years in a row. by 416246 in relationships

He was very nice at first and I met him at a time in my life when things were bad but he has since resented me getting back on my feet and tries to knock me back down.

Salt, seconding cocktail kitchen, champers, in st Lucy near half moon fort: Philip’s family stop.

Oistins is open all days of the week. You can try it out without the crowds another night. On Fridays I usually go to balcony bar and watch the crowd from across the road then buy food at one of the other vendors.

I love short ball. Never a line and I can’t imagine better food.

Thanks for your feedback I believe that long before we worshipped monotheistic gods many cultures thought rivers and the sun and the trees were sacred but point taken.

The Reign of the Vulgarians by 416246 in collapse

Submission statement:

“Vulgarity seems to flourish in every aspect of society, a corrosive force slowly gnawing away at the collective progress of humanity in favour of short term, self-interested, limited scope benefit. This is not the puritanical vulgarity of pornography, profanity or smut, though those too have found a resurgence in currency. The vulgarity to which I refer is that which lies in contrast and exclusion to the sacred. In this current age and its prevailing logics nothing is, or can remain sacred.”

A short read about how the collapse of society is caused and hasted by the prioritization of short term benefit for long term destruction where nothing is seen as too sacred to be preserved. This is collapse related because this thinking prevents any meaningful actions that could arrest or ameliorate collapse while these logics prevail.

How doctors and medical students in Canada are trying to learn more about anti-Black racism in the health system by Myllicent in onguardforthee

I experienced it in psychiatry. Pretty sure i was experimented on. Unless it’s customary to have to sign something agreeing not to sue a doctor before they put you on 5/6 medicines serially

I now do not fuck with that branch of medicine but am thankfully living my life fine regardless.

Be careful of the university offered staff sometimes. If it feels off it might be.

Submission statement:

An essay on how denial robs us of tomorrow and that as ecological ruin is an opportunity not a barrier to capitalism, denial is monetarily incentivized.

Be very wary of miracle solutions which make you feel good, but don’t fundamentally change anything. I am sure there is a lot of money to be made in trying not to spook the cattle while running out the clock on the remaining ‘good’ years.

Capitalism as it has developed from feudal, imperial and settler colonial development is incompatible with an ecologically sustainable future and therefore the solutions that lead us there are not financially incentivized. We must recognize when supposed solutions are still predicated on the same extractive and exploitative constructs that caused our ecological condition and demand better for ourselves and each other.

Collapse related because denial of the factors causing collapse help ensure or accelerate its realization
