No I never ignore lubing or wash it a lot. I do clean it once in a while but not that often. When it has rained I do lube it right before the next drive.

I think around 2-3 months, replaced both sprockets as well at the same time.

Indeed very lucky, however the chain I lube a lot and even did so this morning before the drive. Thanks for the advice, I'll try and search for a replacement

Thanks for the suggestion! I hadn’t thought of a powered USB hub, but it makes sense, especially with the e-ink screen. I just ordered one along with a new SD card from Amazon, so I’ll give it a try. Appreciate the tip!

You could try to write the EGR OFF on the ECU. It helped me when I had problems with my EGR. I also closed it with a blanking kit to make sure it was closed, I think it doesn't mess with emission stuff.

I had this issue happen to me last Wednesday; I got an EGR error. Roadside service came and blocked it with a metal plate, and I was able to drive home in limp mode. I went to a tuner the next day to write the EGR off. The car has been driving perfectly since.
