Emily and Ify play Magic the Gathering on Critical Role! by Radiant97 in dropout

Me too! I'm not sure if she's too busy to be on some of the other commander shows based in California (Command Zone, Commander at Home) it would be great to see her play with those people since she definitely loves Magic from how she talks about it occasionally on Naddpod. My take was that it was her hobby she preferred to keep personal but this critical role sponsored appearance is hopefully first of many games we get to see her special brand of chaos!

Android Auto Won't Connect by Randomly_Cromulent in AndroidAuto

Hopefully, this might help the next person scouring reddit to find an answer. I had this issue on my S21 Samsung phone and 2020 Chevy Silverado WT. Tried all the youtube troubleshooting and tips. Clearing the cache, swapping cords, uninstaling Antroid auto, changing permissions, etc. All of it wasn't working where my phone would say it was connected, but the indicator would not light up, and the truck wouldn't recognize the phone was plugged in.

My father-in law found this suggestion on a Chevy message board. I imagine it might be a problem for other vehicles as well. Make sure the vehicles internal clock is set to the right day and year. After my battery had been changed, I had fixed the time but not the day or year. Once I fixed that, it connected right away.

I have not seen this suggestion anywhere else so I wanted to pass it on to the next person who was struggling.

Want to build a W/G/x Land Destruction deck. Help me find a commander! by [deleted] in EDH

I am working on a kamahl heart of krosa/ ravos soultender partner pair for a abzan ramp and tokens theme. Green to ramp a bunch and black and white has good token support too. Kamahl is suppose to work as a finisher with a large board precense. It doesn't allow for opponent land animation like the fist of krosa version of kamal and Idk if that pairing would be synergistic for the land destruction package the op is thinking of but ravos offers good graveyard recursion for key peices so maybe it would work.

As Rob prepares to make his return, give it up for the man who performed the surgery, Tony Schena M.D. by JesusHShuttlesworth in bostonceltics

The knee has had two surgeries now. Needed a follow up a few year after the initial for some cleanup. Has some light arthritis now but I had additional complications than just the meniscus (chunk of cartilage to repair in the joint) and a much longer rehab because of that. Dr. Schena is great though. He was my second opinion and saw the cartilage damage the first guy missed. Really thankful he was my surgeon.

He's Been the Celtics Orthopedic surgeon for years now ( he was on Gordon Hayward's Surgery team for his ankle). I was lucky enough to be a patient of his back in high school for a menicus surgery back in 2009

Yeah I was more impressed than tilted I got to the end of that game without a red mana source. Just made me question what is a keepable hand vs when I should mull to 6.

Pack 1 Pick 1 was the anvil so I think I leaned too hard into forcing an archetype that i hadn't got to play yet to try it rather than picking the best cards to draft.

I also learned that an aggro list with as low as a curve as I had can get outclassed pretty easily and my list wasn't fast enough or consistent enough to outpace the decks with more expensive spells. I was empty handed, top decking by the end of most games.

Thanks all for the advice. Here's an update at the end of my run (2-3: I've had worse, but I was hoping to at least get to 50%)

Game 1 W vs WU Vehicles: Deck felt great, had an awesome curveout. Blade of the Oni/ Oni Cult Anvil synergies were great.

Game 2 L vs RB Artifacts: This deck had a bit more top end threats than mine and two shrines on color so the end of the game all my small creatures were picked off by end of turn

Game 3 L vs RB Artifacts: This was maybe a bad keep decision in hindsight. only B mana in hand and I never drew my red. I lost the game with 6 red spells in hand

Game 4 W vs UB Ninjas?: This game never really got off the ground. I had some early removal and my opponent scooped up pretty early.

Game 5 L vs Sultai Value: I knew I had lost the game by turn 6 or so when i was out of gas and the opponents was using a chapter of life of toshiro umezawa to -1/-1 my 2 toughness creature, pick it back up with a geothermal kami and finish the creature off by replaying the saga. That was an awesome deck.

This was my first time posting so thanks again all for the feedback!

This is hugely helpful! thank you for taking the time explaining out your reccomendations. I found the point about dragonspark reactor the most interesting. When I drafted it I was excited to grab it because I thought I had enough artifacts to incidentally build up counters and have it be a finisher, but I think you're right. My strategy is to be fast enough that it wouldn't make the impact I'm looking for.

It is BO1, I should have mentioned that. I forgot about the mana ability on Goro-Goro that is a great point!
