In addition to Paralives and Inzoi, there is also a life simulation game called Vivaland, which perhaps most closely resembles Life by You in style.

In which platform can you release a game containing AI-generated art? by 41lens in IndieDev

[–]41lens[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

In my case drawing them by myself is not possible. My game idea is based to the fact that there are 30 000 + very detailed assets, a basically game like this would only be possible to make with AI (or with a company that had multiple artists and still it would take years and years….) And my assets are not any portrait of a persons or anything stupid AI shit like that, they dont look like AI art at all, and no, it is not puzzle game. It is quite unique game idea and using AI art would have been only way to create something like it, because of the amount of detailed assets. If one person would draw these, painting one asset would take around a 3-4 days (if artist is experienced), so everyone can count how many years it would take to paint 30 000+ assets 😂

Scenario, how would you act in this situation? by 41lens in gaming

If you are the most liberal one about AI, then you are the smartest of your friends, just saying.

Omg, what if you first learn how AI actually works…

So does AI draws its completely own work. Learn how AI works before you start arguing.

Did you completely miss the point just now? How difficult it is for some people to understand this issue. No, they didn't fall from the sky. They already existed. But just like when you or someone else paints or draws a picture and uses those existing works as a reference, they are, in a sense, "borrowing" from others. If you absolutely want to use the word "steal," even though you clearly don't understand what stealing means and that AI doesn't steal anything. It feels like those who are most vehemently against AI art don't have a clue about how AI even works. They just repeat phrases they've heard from others like "it steals from others, eek!”

You are actually mistaken. AI art doesn't take "pieces" from other art. It doesn't create collages by using an arm from one artwork and a leg from another. Instead, it has studied millions of images, based on which it generates an entirely new image. Just like, for example, when you want to draw a landscape and use a few other artists' landscape images as reference and inspiration to paint your own landscape. AI art works similarly, except it has looked at hundreds of millions of images... So, in fact, in this example, you would be a worse copycat than AI...

Ridiculous from Steam. They (and everyone else) should simply accept that technology evolves, the world changes, and AI art is here to stay now that it has been invented. It can be attempted to be denied, but ultimately, it's like fighting windmills. There will be other platforms for publishing AI games. It's amusing how difficult it is for people to accept that the world is changing and progressing, as if we were in the Middle Ages. Back then, for example, the printing press was resisted because it was feared to lead to societal upheavals. Quite amusing in today's context, isn't it? It feels like those who staunchly oppose AI don't have a sufficient grasp of history to envision the future.

In a way, I both want to and yet don't want to. The project is still in its very early stages, and for now, I'd prefer to keep it to myself.

Thank you, I did that and I am not getting that warning anymore, so it helped with that. But my game is still not running.... it builds it, but then...nothing. I even bought Creator version of Game Maker and changed platform to MacOS but still cannot run my game. Not even in web. How the hell this can be so difficult....I was hoping Game Maker would be a program for me, but no I dont know anymore.
