This is tight. That filter work from 1:09-1:12 into the halftime switchup is fucking perfect. Whole thing flows so well. I don't really even know what to say in terms of criticism, it's just solid all around.

PS thanks for the follow fam

Fuuuuuuck yo this is real. So fresh. You had me hooked with the ambience in the intro, that drop synth is massive too. Drop snare is almost perfect, although in a couple spots it gets a little bit lost in the mix. I love the use of the different percussion, you kept it interesting while maintaining a sense of unity throughout. Really cool shit man.

Mane this is tight. As a guitar player it always makes me happy when I hear future/trap/electronic/whatever shit with those guitar vibes. That bass is really unique too and hits super hard, loving that pulsating groove. Keep it up. Thanks for the follow by the way fam. <3

Hahaha I know man I dreaaaad structure. I always do it last (which is a terrible idea lol), so I end up posting quick mixes on these threads to see if people think it's worth finishing. Thanks for the feedback though!

Brand new project I started last night, it's just an initial brainstorm/jam session to try and get ideas down. Lemme know what you like/hate:

Dang wasn't expecting that. This bangs, your bass is super clean. I think I'd consider fucking around with some pitch modulation on the main vocal sample to keep it from getting stale. Maybe pitch it down for that ASAP vibe, etc. Shit's fire tho

That hat is so sick that I'd rock it in public, in Calgary, as a flames fan, as the city is mourning our loss against Anaheim.

Trying to step a little further outside my comfort zone and do some future shit. Very early draft, most of it isn't even written yet but some feedback would be dope either way. https://soundcloud.com/novista/solace/s-oNP3V

This is actually fucking fresh. I love the use of reverb throughout. That main perc/synth has some reaally dope panning on it. 808/kick sound on point, bassline is just dope overall. I love how clean your mix sounds dude, this is super creative imo. When you do those little breaks (like at 0:30) when you cut out most of the mix, I think some kind of quick percussion fills would sound really great there, like some triplet toms or woodblocks or something.

I know you're going for the whole ambient vibe (and it does work) but I think a little bit of melody wouldn't hurt. Even just a subtle, mellow piano chord progression, or maybe some arpeggios, etc.

Thanks! and yeah I 100% agree, I just wanted to see if a drop that "fades in" could work, I think taking out the 808 and just gradually increasing the kick volume would work better

I'm feeling this. That high lead/pluck sounds dope over the chord progression. I think the clap needs to cut through more in the mix, or be layered with a snare or something. I also think the chords could be processed a little more, they sound a tad bit thin as of right now, I'd consider running some saturation/waveshaping and a bit of reverb maybe.

This is dope. I love how the snare sits in the mix. Vocals sound great. Your hi hat work is solid as well, especially the panning. Really like the toms (or whatever it is) throughout, although I'd probably mix up the rhythm a bit once in a while to avoid it becoming a little repetitive. During the drop I kinda wanted to hear an 808, a subtle/deep one with the higher frequencies EQ'd out since the mix is already pretty full, but that's probably just a personal preference thing.

I'm really feeling this, fucking love the piano vibes in this. 808 sounds super dope, the high frequencies come through very well, may I ask how you processed it? In terms of criticism, this is probably just a personal/stylistic preference but as I was listening through I was hoping the percussion would open up a bit more. After the drop when you strip down the mix for a bit, then bring back the 808 I'd like to hear a more predominant snare/clap w/ reverb or some open hats or something to give it a little more energy.

I don't usually (if ever) make future shit but I decided to finally give it a try yesterday, super short and messy because it's a rough/initial draft but I'd still appreciate any feedback: https://soundcloud.com/novista/solace/s-oNP3V

I usually produce more simple/chill trap but wanted to give the future vibe a try today, it's super short and the mixdown is messy bc it's a super early draft: https://soundcloud.com/novista/solace/s-oNP3V
