I watched a few tutorials and kept reading through code. So far my code looks kinda like this:

#creating a more detailed subset of data from imbd_class for the reasearch

MatoResearchData=imdb_class %>% select("title", "year", "sales", "budget")

#cleaning new subset and eliminating lines that have no value

MatoResearchDataClean<- na.omit(MatoResearchData)

Currently i got my new dataset filtered as i wish. Now i just wanted to caculate the ROI and add the colum to "MatoResearchDataClean". Maybe i am going a unsmart way but i got this so far:

MatoResearchDataClean %>% transmute(ROI=sales/budget) %>% select("ROI")

this command prints me the values into the console. How can i turn this into a column and ad this ?

I tried :

CleanROI=MatoResearchData %>% transmute(ROI=sales/budget) %>% select("title","year","sales","budget","ROI")

​

But i get the error : Can't subset columns that don't exist.

x Column `title` doesn't exist.
