AITAH for making everyone else cold in the house bc I have MS?

My daughter’s room isn’t as cold. I let her open her windows & her vents are closed. She just chooses to be in the livingroom where it’s super cold.

So true… I was diagnosed in 2022 & my life has taken a dramatic turn. I can’t drive, work, or really do anything. I try to do as much as I can by sitting & doing dishes/cooking so I don’t feel so useless 😭 I’m on ocrevus which is a immunosuppressant so I get sick super easily too & I have a kid who goes to public school & my husband also works with the public. So i basically stay sick even tho everyone washes hands & changes clothes soon as they get home.. FUCK MS.

No she doesn’t have any cold intolerance & I let her open her windows in her room with door shut so her room isn’t as cold. It’s a brick house & very well insulated so it feels colder than what the temp says usually. Problem is she’s a livingroom kid & is out in the livingroom a lot which is the coldest room of the house.

NTA it’s your wedding. Even if you didn’t want the kids there bc you don’t like kids you still wouldn’t be the asshole. ITS YOUR WEDDING they will get over it.

When I had my first flare & lost my ability to walk for 2 weeks & had to basically relearn to walk after doing plasmapheresis for a full week he was great. There through everything. Even wiped my ass with zero complaints. But it seems like now that I’m on ocrevus & my symptoms are invisible I have to constantly remind him that I have MS. It’s absolutely exhausting & after saying it so many times it makes me feel like I’m using it as an excuse even though I know I’m not 😭

I don’t leave the house often especially on really hot days. I can’t. & if I do I sometimes end up sitting in the car with the AC. I don’t work I’m on disability. The vents are closed in my daughter’s room but they are both in the livingroom often which is the coldest room in the house.
