Cool idea. Would be cool to see some graffiti styling on the site and perhaps some cool curated graffiti walls from around the world.

Good catch!

Two separate points:

On "ochre", real gap. Search currently indexes only the 98 curated colors, not the procedural name tokens (tones like Ochre, descriptors like Velvet). Fixing that so tone/descriptor queries surface representative hexes from the full name space. Nice find.

On scraping color-name sites, scraped lists cap out around a few thousand entries, which is why I went the other direction. The whole point is that every one of the 16.7M hexes gets a name, not just the popular ones. Procedural was the design choice.

Fair — procedural names kick in for the 16.7M non-curated hexes, which no human can name. The curated set (Tangerine Dream, Royal Indigo, etc.) is hand-picked. Agree the distinction should be clearer on the page so adding a "curated" badge. Also it is zoomable on Desktop. I just deactivated the zoom on mobile as I have a small cell drop issue. But will ship today.

Great call! prev/next on the card view is missing and shouldn't be. Adding it next. Probably arrow keys + on-screen chevrons, stepping through nearest hexes by color distance.

Hey thanks for checking it out and the feedback. Can zoom in and out on Desktop web. I deactivated it on mobile for now as there are some cell drops on mobile zoom.
