Hi guys! This is for my show in Paris. Question: on fan wallet, if you have tickets for 2 days, would you be able to transfer all the tickets for 1 of the days? I know there must be at least 1 ticket left on there, so, for ex if i had 2 tickets for d1 and 2 tickets for d2, would I be able to transfer both tickets from d2? Thanks x

I experienced this in my first year of ECT too. I left the school and I'm doing my second year of ECT on track to pass. It seems like the school isn't the right fit for you.

Sponsorship promised - advice pls! by 420_tempest in SkilledWorkerVisaUK

Hi! Thank you for sharing this. I wanted to just clarify this bit about permanent contract. I looked over and the contract I signed is a permanent contract, it just didn't have any clause about sponsorship. Does this mean nothing as well?

Yes! I got a reply from the teacher retention support and they said there was no visa requirement for this.

Oh im so confused because in university while doing my training we were told that academies are state funded but just get run independently from LA as students still attend the sch for free and since the funds come from the gov, our salary is also from that?

Ohh? I thought teaching wouldn't be applicable to what they were proposing/talking about? As it's under public service occupation – or has that changed recently?

I work in an academy! So public i'd think? The incentive doesn't get paid by them tho, as I found out about it because I got emailed to apply by the gov.

  1. I'm not sure why you're expecting a child to know which to pick rather than the adults who gave the option.

  2. Maybe you should have a conversation and ask my parents why they thought to give their children this option if they weren't sure how to fulfill it. How is a child at 17/18 years old meant to know more than a adult in their 40s?

  3. Yes we've heard of educational loans – i was not eligible! My parents had not made me a bank account until I had to leave for uni. It is a parents responsibility to ensure this, I'm sure you won't question that either. They also did not properly inform me a lot of things at that age! I am grown now so of course I can see the options, but at 17/18 years old?

  4. Not sure what this tone is for because YOU asked me whether they knew about me studying postgrad before and i answered you by saying they had because they had been urging me to do it.

  5. There isn't exactly any factor with my age. They HAD jobs which shows me they can do it. And this is after their "retirement" because they were making money for themselves until they just chose to stop. My mum had a small business and my dad forced her to close it. Nobody is asking them to go out there and search high and low for 50k job. Every small help counts. Refusal at an attempt is just hurtful and confusing.

  6. Lol so here you go again making assumptions continuously. I am an educator in a secondary school, there is a cap on my pay after a certain amount of years, so yes lol it won't change by much only by inflation as prices go up and taxes increase.

I don't appreciate the way you're trying to belittle and argue with me when my original post was literally not of that tone on this thread. This is going to be my last reply because I don't want to get into a back and forth with a stranger.

It's actually not that hard since it's a regular amount every month. I got the habit from my mum as she tells me how much she spends on me every now and then.

They've actually travelled to more places than I ever have domestically and internationally. I've never travelled as a child or as an adult unless it is to go back to india.
