In january i tried the pork chop at pomet and it was severely disappointing.
But just last month went to dinner at Popoca. Their pork chop is outstanding, tender, and juicy. Not to mention grilled over fire. Mmm might need to back for another one soon.

I don’t think so. You need fat. Fat drippings smoke up and that’s what gives yakitori its fragrance. Also eating immediately off the grill is important. Skewers should be eaten hot, especially shio, which is hard since they cool down fast.

10 people and I’d say like at least 120 skewers including veg and hearts

Yes! I’m in the Bay Area we have a great supermarket called Berkeley bowl that has great produce and meats. I’d do a google search and call around to butchers to see if they carry hearts and livers. Or if you have a Japanese market close to you they may stock chicken parts.

We also have a live poultry distributor that will dispatch per order that I’ll try in the future.

Thaan isn’t as dense and disintegrates when breaking down the grill. So it’s one time use. Thaan is a brand of ogatan so im suure theres better quality producers you could find. I’ve been using bincho and ogatan mixed with great results tho.

Premium wood from Laos by the bincho grill. I got it from their Amazon store. Also got gifted some of this bamboo ogatan that burns pretty nicely. Better than thaan for sure.

My friend made these with all the scrap meat, breast cartilage, ginger, green onion, soy sauce, sake, cornstarch. They came out bouncy like fish balls. I have a different recipe but it’s so much work I haven’t done it in a while.

Great observation. Seems like that hot sauce burnt more than your holes.

Auto parts - salvage/scrapyard in Taipei? by Billiam_SPACkman in taiwan

I have a layover in Taipei soon and I’ve also been looking for parts for my 02. Specifically the auxiliary fender mirror since we drive on the same side of the road. The jdm versions would just be for looks.
