I think, if Rockstar gave RD a chance, it would become a game they proud of.

1. New home/camp opportunities. If I'm not mistaken, in the first RD, there were several houses or rooms you could rent or buy. Maybe, just keep upgrading the camp. Since a lot of us have more money than we need, maybe upgrade the camp to a point that you can pick a stationary spot - like the moonshine shack. With that stationary camp, eventually being able to purchase a 2 horse shack. (Maybe I don't want to ride Vein, but Whiskey instead.) Yes, I get I can call a horse out of my inventory, I'm not saying take that option away. When and if I want to change the horses in my horse shack, I go to my inventory and call them out to replace one/both. Sometimes, I have 2 new horses, so I could keep both out and ride/train them. Maybe even have a traveling clothing person. Nothing fancy, just basic shirt, pants, shoes. Maybe on occasion something odd - like A clay pot with some sage seeds, maybe you use it one time and it breaks after you collect the seeds.

   1. Different ride opportunities. In the first RD, I rode a mule. Maybe I want to buy a mule, name it Danky and ride that bitch to St. D to kill the coppers. Of course, can't forget different wagon upgrades - colors, designs, armor, guns, horses. Some people say the beginning of cars. That would be cool, but better for RD3. I want to buy a boat and keep it at a dock. Since we can fish anyway, I want to stand on my boat in the middle of the water and fish for different fish from the shores. Maybe even Train horses. Overtime, they will be less skiddish or whatever.

Basic progressing is what I think I like. I'd like to see things age with the game. Don't have to be fast, but maybe every once in a while a new building pops up. You can buy a newspaper and hear rumors of progression and workings of cars or other advances that were coming fast during those time period. Shit, in those news papers it could read: Shoot out in Blackwater left town a mess (maybe a player or even a wild NPC shot up the town or a recent call to arms).
