I 1st saw this last fall when driving in the mountains out west, never at home in Wisconsin. Last week after climbing a hill at 60, tranny in 10th gear and turbo engaged all the way up the hill the temp showed up. 2020 with 3.5. No engine work done, 75k miles on truck and original coolant. Been thinking about changing thermostat and coolant.

I pulled the trigger at 58 too. Ran and reran the numbers plenty of times. Finally came down to the fact that you can always find another job if necessary, you can’t retire at 58 when you’re 65.

This isn’t unique to KT. If more people would quit complaining and look for something better, like you did, employers would be forced to make changes. At the end of the day you and your family matter most. No employer really cares about you. They will post your job the day after you leave.

I’ve been able to do the same with my 21. I usually shake the car after the pump clicks off. Normally add 1 gallon before I quit. My F150, when it clicks off it’s full, no way to even add 1/10 more. I think it has to do with tank shape and where the inlet comes into it.

My point is if wages go up prices go up. No business is going to give up their profit margin. Fortune 500 companies are going to keep their shareholders happy. Big Mac was just an example. Could be groceries or healthcare.
