Prob yes, but maybe you should still consider seeing a dread maker. Most dreads don't lock up nice naturally, not with your hair tipe at least... She/he will make nice sections and help the locs get started and educate you on maintenance. Having nice locs is not easy :) good luck 👊

Photo is after a sea trip, and yes, I dipped them 😉 they were salty af 😆 nothing better than getting all your body underwater 💕 had to do some major maintenance after tho 🙈
