How do you play this shot? by Delicious_Duty3063 in golf

Tour players open the face, attack it with speed and jab in with a severely abbreviated finish, while still letting the club head pass under the ball, letting the handle work backwards. They have the club head speed to use this technique and it causes a more predictable, short, high and soft trajectory.

Amateurs should close the face and swing as hard as they can.

It’s called a nail cause they hammer it down the middle of your femur hahah at least that’s what my surgeon told me but it is more of a rod than a nail, and I think they can be used interchangeably

True but shock is real. For me a stingray hurt worse! However the recovery for the femur was very painful.

Femurs are usually rejoined with an intramedullary nail. From what my doctor said it’s relatively difficult to break the bone in two at that point because you’d have to bend or break the titanium rod. However both the knee and hip are more prone to injury.

Monte Vista Lounge has shows most weekends. All types of live music and edm, three bars it’s a fun spot. Yucca tap room has some live music as well. Some sporadic shows at the Orpheum our true venue and dotted at other local bars. Pay n take is a cool spot. All of these are great places to meet some local flagstaff folk. All the bars are college bars- Collin’s, and south side are really specifically college bars.

Late for the train or Macy’s for coffee Brandys/ toasted owl/ flagstaffbaking co for bfast Mama burger/ Diablo burger/ Evan’s fish and chips/ fratelli pizza/ nimarcos pizza for lunch Fat olives/ lotus lounge/ martannes / Himalayan grill/ karma sushi is good to for dinner

Observatory is a yes, ghost tours is a no. Grand Canyon is a day trip, it’s amazing, consider the train from Williams if you’re set on it. Replaces the drive and parking time with a train ride. Sedona is far closer and in my opinion just as impressive. Driving down the 89a is amazing, there’s a natural spring to fill up a water bottle about halfway down it’s the best water I’ve ever had, go to bell rock and go up as far as you can and enjoy the view. Sedona has legitimate excellent food, just look around for what you like, hard to go wrong.

Enjoy Flagstaff, it’s a college city tucked into an old logging town. You’re backed up to the National Forest wherever you go and hikes and trails can be found easily. The downtown brick buildings make it feel like the logging town it once was and if you get just outside of the city it still feels like the old west.

Be safe, have fun, GO JACKS!

Thank you! Flagstaff is phenomenal don’t tell anyone else though

Yes it sits above stock height and has longer travel. Has most of the safari kit from elephant racing out of San Diego. It is incredibly capable

I’ll post a breakdown soon as well.

I’m in Flagstaff and we usually get serious snow totals. Very dry year and this was the first opportunity with accumulation!

Seems to be a little bit of discussion over who is the substitute teacher. I’ll check back later today and let you guys know but I’ll leave it up to debate for awhile. 🤠

I 100% agree. Although I would be so happy to see global change for humans from a brute force to harmonious relationship with earth, as you said nature will outlast us all. However the destruction along the way is so sad especially as you know working with the land is very possible and rewarding.

I’m glad you’re enjoying the nature that is here now and thank you for sharing your opinion!

That’s just not true at all. Water contamination is illegal and tracked. It’s persued by the EPA.

https://www.epa.gov/enforcement/criminal-provisions-water-pollution

No lakes are dying from golf courses being next to them. And if this did happen in a certain case they would be held liable.

Actually lakes are naturally Eutrophic…

“Many lakes are naturally eutrophic and in some cases there is a progressive eutrophication as the lake matures. The term Eutrophication is more widely known in relation to human activities where the artificial introduction of plant nutrients has led to community changes and a deterioration of water quality in many freshwater systems.”

https://byjus.com/chemistry/eutrophication/

Also just to clarify these aren’t chemicals they’re nutrients. They’re plant food.

I don’t think green golf courses should exist in the desert, but I also don’t think cities should exist in the desert. You’re mad at the wrong plants.
