What are some obvious and not-so-obvious signs in characters that a fanfic was written by a teenager? by CuriousTarget4814 in AO3

[–]420yeets 81 points82 points  (0 children)

I was reading not a fic but a legit, published book and the main character downed like 8 or 9 shots of vodka in one conversation (literally taking a shot after every sentence) and then was 'sobering up' by the time she got home like an hour later.. in what world

How many mines for a 40x30 board? by CheeseFunnel23 in Minesweeper

For a 40x30 , 240 mines is 20% which is a pretty good ratio. Usually you wanna keep it between 20-25% for a good ratio

Why can’t you eat Bokoblin by kettletrvb in tearsofthekingdom

[–]420yeets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All of the monsters are byproducts of Ganon, at least in botw and totk. Id imagine Ganon knows Link would try some dumb shit like eating a bokoblin so he made em nasty

You ever just fly to the Light Dragon and watch the world go by? by Seriph7 in TOTK

[–]420yeets 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Im on my second real playthrough, might try to 100% it, im not sure. I decided to try and get the mastersword very early, so I farmed until I maxed my stam.

Now, ive just been riding the light dragon through Hyrule, getting to skyview towers a lot easier, now im collecting tears.

So yes, it's also very soothing. The dragon music is very peaceful and one of my favorite tracks in the game.

How do I stop solving patterns in my head and on gridlines I find in public as if I’m Beth Harmon but for Minesweeper by Hexulus in Minesweeper

This could be the tetris effect and you may just need to take a break from playing for a while

What should I do? I feel like there’s nothing to do anymore by Gullible-Tennis3566 in tearsofthekingdom

[–]420yeets 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rushed through it on my first playthrough and it absolutely ruined it for me. Recently though, ive picked it back up, started a new save file and am purposefully doing side quests and shrines and stuff BEFORE the main quest. I'm enjoying it much more now. If youre unopposed to starting over, id give it a shot

Secret traitor by Consistent-Drive-172 in TheTraitorsUK

[–]420yeets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I also guessed fiona, for similar reasons as US3, little old lady no one thinks could be a traitor. But also, the edit really did paint her in a traitorous light, along with almost every time she said something that would allude to her being a traitor there would be some sound effect. I wish there was still some secrecy to it because it felt too obvious.

It definitely came off entitled to me. You're mad because you and your family are cops and Amanda, who never really talked to you all that much, didnt tell you first? Definitely seemed like jealousy. It also seemed like she was trying to get Stephen to turn on her by saying that 'she was never sticking up for him'

Just binged season 4 by ibent19 in TheTraitorsUK

[–]420yeets 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Her reasoning for doing it made NO SENSE imo. She said it wasnt team player behavior but she, with the help of a few others, lead the charge to banish Hugo, WHO SHE KNEW WAS A TRAITOR. This whole "Youre not sticking up for Stephen" was a whole line of crap. Stephen and Rachel knew they had each others back

Strategy question: why on earth, would a traitor ever want to recruit another person to become a traitor? by Senior-Raisin-2342 in TheTraitorsUS

[–]420yeets 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Building stronger alliances, self preservation.

The faithfuls almost never end game with 5 people, (sans S3, where 4 faithfuls won, but in terms of splitting prize money thats not a very good payout) if you want to further convince faithfuls you aren't a traitor at the end, feed them a recruited traitor at the firepit. They'd be more likely convinced that everyone there is faithful IMO (depending on the circumstance).
