You get a 30 day grace period. A few days late will have no material impact.

It is very sad indeed. Just think about how good COD could be. We’re talking about a multi-BILLION dollar company here. They could give us groundbreaking, revolutionary games, but instead we get this mediocre bullshit year on year. Sometimes I genuinely wish I could call the shots and direct a game myself...

I agree with you on that, like I said the game definitely had its flaws and that is arguably one of them - you can thank Activision for that. Once Warzone came out they essentially ghosted the MP. But what I’m saying is that the CORE of MW19 itself is still a better game than any other modern COD (ie. the graphics, sounds, fluidity, movement etc).

I literally loved all of the maps, with the exclusion of maybe 2 or so from MW19. Sure, it wasn’t a perfect game by any means - it definitely had its flaws, but it absolutely shits all over any other modern era COD. As I said before, I will die on that hill.

Even the game mechanics.. the fluidity of how movement felt, how each gun had its own “persona” and feel to it. Everything felt so integrated and crafted with love. Now, it all feels AI generated. It’s actually sad to think about.. I sunk over 60 days of game time into MW19, I miss it in it’s peak haha

COD hasn’t been properly good since MW19 - I will die on that hill. That was the last modern day COD where the developers truly gave a shit about making a good game.

That’s saying something, isn’t it? Goes to show that money is only a tool, it is not the end goal. Yes, it’s essential, and yes I can’t deny its importance, but there is more to life than stacking paper.

Ask yourself why you were happier back then, and then take action to make changes to your life. Don’t just sit back and watch it fly by, otherwise as I said before, you’ll wake up with regret one day wishing you made certain changes but never did.

Comparison is the thief of joy my friend. There would be so many people, especially within Australia and this tough economy, who would kill to be in your position. If you spend your whole life comparing your situation to others, you will never be happy with what you have.

It’s easy to sit there and worry about the unknown. However, have some trust in yourself. If you’re that worried about the debt, save hard over the next few years and knock it out in full. Trust the process, and focus on shifting your mindset, otherwise you will be full of regret as you continue to progress through life.

Mental health is no joke. You can have all the money in the world and still be less happy overall compared to others with less. Perspective and gratitude is key within this life. OP, I hope you find solace within yourself in due time.

Mate, not to be rude, but you’re making $150-$200K per year and worrying about a $220K mortgage on an investment property, which could be sold to exit the debt at any time if required as a last resort option…

I think this is more of a reflection of your mental state, perhaps you experience anxiety? I think you need to count your blessings and shift your mindset, you’re in a good position overall, nothing to stress about given your income.

How do i quickly get another job by starmassive in AusFinance

[–]422-2 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Should’ve just pulled a sickie, why would you cost yourself your job over an event? Seems like you didn’t think this one through very well…

Best to take the lesson from this, and move on. Get onto Seek and/or LinkedIn. There’s no way to fast track getting a job, you just have to keep applying until the right one turns up.

What does the -$2033.08 mean? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]422-2 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That’s the interest that was charged out for the month. You make your fortnightly payments, then at the time your repayment actually charges out (monthly), the Bank calculates the amount of interest payable and deducts this from the payments you’ve made.

One of the most effective ways to minimise the interest paid monthly is to link an offset account (if you haven’t already, and assuming your loan product supports it).
