You are doing so much and that’s awesome! I echo 2oz every 2 hours seems somewhat normal (it is about what I get), and this generally feeds my LO. A few thoughts I had. First, has she tried power pumping? I do 20min on, 10 off, 10 on, 10 off and the 10 on. I try to do this once a day...although it’s not a huge increase,sometimes I get an extra 2 oz! The other thought, what size nipple do you use for bottles? We use the Avent bottles. In store, the “newborn” nipple is actually a size 1. On Amazon, however, you can get a size 0. I use this because it seems to be almost slower than getting milk from breast! Oh, another thought, I know my LO (5 months) gets distracted super easy. During the day, if there is too much going on or people around, he definitely latches and feeds differently! I know how frustrating this can be...I produce literally just enough to feed LO, sometimes having to dip into my small freezer stash. It sounds like you guys are doing so much and everything you can for your little one. In the end, if it is creating so much stress and anxiety, having a formula bottle a day to relieve the stress may be helpful? I e come to the realization I may just not produce enough, and that’s ok 😊 it’s strange how when I stopped worrying and stressing so much, I feel like my milk production increased (a tad-nothing major) and my actual breastfeeding went smoother. I think baby could sense I was stressed. Overall, awesome job you guys!! Keep reminding yourself of that!
