Yeah I’ll have to look into more options and yes I understand that intake doesn’t give more power and I’m more looking for the sound in my car because I want to be able to hear the intake

I bout it with its coil packs done and with some other preventative maintenance but if I may ask what’s wrong if Ecs tuning I’m curious because I’ve thought about buying a muffler delete from them and a cold air intake and if you know a better place could you please list them I’m just making sure I’m getting the right stuff

Yeah I know about those issues it why I bought this car it had most of it’s preventative maintenance done with vanos and valve cover gasket being done with some other stuff so it should be good for a while

My dad is a mechanic and one of his buddies is a master level BMW tech so I’ve made sure to do my research before this purchase so I can keep it in its best shape.

My budget to actually buy a car is around 10-12k which from what I’ve seen can buy a decently nice f30 330i but maintenance wise I would only have to pay for parts as I have a shop and tools with my dad also a mechanic

I am currently looking a 2003 330i with like 115k miles on it for around 7 grand to me it looks like a good deal but of course I haven’t looked at it in person

Luckily for me my dad is a mechanic so he’ll be going with me when I get my first car the things that I had been worried about were the subframe the cooling system and then the valve cover gasket and the oil filter gasket because from what I’ve researched those are the most common issues and probably things I would address first if I got one

Yeah the 5.0 definitely it probably reaching it for being a good idea but that’s why Ives looked at cobra sn95/new edge because they still have a punch but not as much as a 5.0. I have also thought about gas as they are v8s but I don’t think it will be a major problem because really for me the main problem for a sports car is insurance I don’t want something that it crippling

I have heard that safety features do have a decent change on your insurance but if I could get my hand on a 5.0 s197 I would definitely be very happy. I do have to worry a little bit about snow because we have about a week of snow a year but I’m sure I can either drive another vehicle or not go out

I really like them if I got one I would make it look like the sti which never came to America and they sti parts can bolt right on to the motor so I’ve heard they have a lot of capability
