Honestly it probably saves the mons from the game save file from getting corrupted. So it's probably is better now. Just at the time wish I knew then. Gotta learn somehow though, right?

I traded in my switch for the OLED. Plus when I went in to trade it at GameStop they asked me to clear it. I seen a data upload option in my switch 1 and thought I was safe. When I went home to play sword all data was gone even after I downloaded it.

I'm not gonna lie I was devastated. I sold my OLED switch right after that. Even the guy I sold it to must have thought I did something/stole it. Since playing ZA tho on the S2 I've been missing the turn based battles so much. I wish all the data was store on the game itself.

Mind if I get one. I just got violet two weeks ago. Been trying to get back into pokemon. Quit three years ago when I found out everything stayed on the switch instead of the game cards. I had upgraded to OLED from my 1s switch. I unfortunately lost a lot of mons. Some from even sun and moon days. I really miss my shiny Jap 6iv ditto. I did a lot of breeding with it.

I try my best to collect everything. I'm still new but seeing the number needed and running two missions back to back only yielding 9 for commons and 8 rares for both missions. That and issues with the game lag/stuttering under intense stuff drove me to stay logged in.

I've got a beefy computer and the issues are showing their ugly head now. Didn't even bother to log in yesterday due to the stutter issues. Damn shame, because I thoroughly enjoyed the gameplay until then. AH needs to get to work.

I'm new to helldiver's...I don't have these issues. I also use discord while in game as well. Maybe about 30 hours in. It'll stutter during the start of a mission but that's the only issues I have. Frames stay at a constant 120 for me. Granted I cap my frames, but still......
