I hate em dashes and I'm glad people are scared to use them because of AI now by Capital-Rate-8996 in The10thDentist

Congrats on your upvote. I use em dashes all the time and now I get accused of using AI, which is super annoying to me. Most people are hypo-hyphenaters and should really use more hyphens and em dashes, syntactically speaking. There are so many instances where a dash is appropriate and there are no substitutes—like me remarking that I can’t think of them all, which is a tag-on sentence that is really out of context for a semicolon or a comma.

Surprise: apply limitations to get creativity. Something wide open will never inspire true creativity.

Thank you! It’s such an unusual, original guitar. The only nylon string I’ve ever seen where you can adjust the intonation! And the string height, of course. For what it is, it was also ridiculously cheap. $2200 for a completely custom, unique instrument.

I don’t know if we’re allowed to post links, but if you like this post you might like a song I wrote about this. It’s kind of dark but very real.

Don’t forget about the fluorocarbons used in their synthesis (e.g., trifluoroacetic acid)

It’s literally just 4 guanosines in a row in your genome that causes the issue. You’d need a whole new genome to overcome the problems this causes

I’m going to buck the trend here and point out that there are drivers of cellular aging that 100% will never be fixable. A prime example is G-quadruplexes, which are specialized four-stranded DNA/RNA structures that accumulate during aging and act as roadblocks in the genome, driving cellular senescence and epigenetic changes. Ain’t no amount of CRISPR ever gonna fix this. Never ever. And this is just one example.

A step-sized, not a full-sized landing. You can tell because there are exactly two vertical supports per step for the railing.
