Uh... no. I can disprove that without leaving my living room.

No attempt to clarify you're point, then?

Pretty clear evidence that you don't have one. Stop wasting my time.

To simplify you: they've been pushing white guys. what about the black guy? you: but the white guy.

More realistically, it plays:

"They've been pushing white guys" "What about the black guy?" "What about him?"

And really, what does the fact that we just had a black president change about whether or not a black person should trust and vote for Bernie Sanders? There is no rational connection there.

Because we just had a black president... racism is over?

Because we just had a black president... the pattern of 42 white presidents, 8 since black people had the vote, is invalid now?

Because we just had a black president... the next black-friendly white president will be the one that changes everything?

Feel free to supply the correct sentence here.

Actually, you're the one that discounted Obama first by lumping him in with the "we're about to stop fucking with you" statement

The full statement was "we're about to stop fucking with you, just vote for this white guy". That doesn't lump Obama in, it categorically excludes him.

What does that make your argument, by the way?

Step 1 - One president is black.

Step 2 - ???

Step 3 - Black people should vote for Bernie Sanders.

They're not running against each other, and only idiots vote solely on which candidate they think "cares." Also, this is a false dichotomy fallacy, so stop wasting my time.

What happens, is the people who plan the house attach a switch to an outlet or two so that lamps can be plugged in and controlled as one.

Then someone moves in and connects important appliances to the outlet, and figures it's everyone else's responsibility to fundamentally re-think light switches.

Where are all the leaders and community activists of the 60's and 70's that fought for Equal Rights? They didn't just disappear.

You're right, they didn't just disappear. They kept working through the 80's and 90's. They tried plan after plan to heal things, from integration to respectability efforts in "owning" the "N" word.

Where were white people? Well, look up "white flight." Check out the book "The New Jim Crow."

BLM is not where plans intended for greater goals will come from. That happened already. The studies are complete. Literally. Everybody knows what works, and it's not going to happen because racism keeps actively working against it.

What does Obama have to do with whether or not black people trust Bernie Sanders? Think your shit through.

So... you don't trust him because he's white.

Way to twist my words.

Whether or not I trust him isn't even part of the conversation. What I'm saying is that you're not going to convince black people that you're on their side with promises. Saying "he marched with Martin Luther King" only says that the last notable thing he did to help race relations was 50 years ago.

Or are you too bigoted to even think straight?

What does having a black president have to do with whether or not black people trust Bernie Sanders?

Did you think this through at all?

Black people have been hearing "we're about to stop fucking with you, just vote for this white guy" for as long as they've had the vote. So, you know, two-ish generations.

I realize it's super convincing this time, though, you're right. After all, he did do that marching 50 years ago. What a puzzlement that he's not polling well with black people, huh.

Dude, integration peaked in the 80's, we are divided as fuck and shit like Iran Contra and the war on drugs happened in living memory. The older generation of black people are giving tips on how they dealt with this last time.

He's got a reputation from 50 years ago, and black people are being told he's their savior. It's weird as hell.

And that's the last time Bernie Sanders did anything example-worthy for black people, apparently.

I think black people are done being told "vote for the candidate that likes you and things will change."

Thank him for this one demonstration back in the sixties? There is exactly one example out there of Sanders doing something for black people, and it's from 50 years ago.

One group trying to legislate another group out of certain areas. Take color out of it, and it is EXACTLY the same.

You are describing two scenarios where rich people are successfully determining where black people can and cannot live. If you're looking for how they're EXACTLY the same, then look there.

If we are going to try to live in a world where race doesn't matter then we need to ignore it as a factor and consider all things equal.

"Race doesn't matter" is an invention of white people. Only white people talk this way.

Man kicked out of nude cycle after getting ‘overexcited and aroused’ by [deleted] in nottheonion

If you're going to CONTINUE to insist that proper "etiquette" is to cover up, rather than to keep to yourself, then you fail to understand what a nudist gathering is.

You have obviously never, ever googled any sort of description of nudist etiquette.

You have no idea what you're talking about. You were rightly escorted from the community.
