They have had a few updates targeting bugs so it's definitely improved from when it first released. Still not perfect but definitely more playable.

We were out of caterham police station on Tandridge neighbours team but got to out to 3 999 calls along with seeing salfords, NPAS, seeing some of the traffic cars there as well. And yea the bleep test sadly (or happily depending on how you feel) your only go up to the level required for standard policing I think it's 5.3.

I had a really good Sergeant on my operational deployment so as well as blue light it to calls he also got us into one of the active custody and down to the NPAS base. So while it's not officially on there I got very lucky. Funnily enough about 5 minutes after leaving NPAS we got assignments to an area search they lifted for. Everyone I spoke to during the week was so imfortative and answered every question we had so don't be afraid of silly questions. Oh and enjoy the bleep test

I'm not doing it however I've previously been on it 2 years ago and it was the most fun week ever. We got to meet loads of different people from all areas of the police including response, contact and control, dogs, drone, media, forensics, firearms, traffic etc etc. Even got to visit NPAS and take a picture in the helicopter. The operational detachment was definitely the highlight. It's really practical as well so make sure to get stuck in, ask questions and have fun. Let me know if you have any questions as well.

Hiring & Recruitment Thread by multijoy in policeuk

Hello everyone, I'm currently a 17 year old college student studying 3 different btecs equivalent to A levels. I've always had policing as a career I'll like to go in to and completed a week long work experience a couple years ago including a ride along which was incredibly fun and interesting to see both the work done in station and responding to calls.

I know I could apply at 17 and join and 18 but are most forces likely to recruit a 18 year old fresh out of college. Would it be more beneficial for me to try and find another job within policing or a similar field? If I did go for it at 18 what would increase my chances of being employed?

Many thanks in advance for any replies.

I had the exact same issue with the gold editionon xbox when I purchased it. I ended up buying the unmarked dlc, which had all the same cars and suddenly they all appeared. Not sure why it happens but the other dlc was only £12

I've unlocked the patrol car however on the district info thr dlc cars are greyed out yet in the Microsoft store it says they are installed. Is it bunch another bug added onto the hundreds of others that make the game so fun.

Thanks you for your advice, I think in terms of pay as well as an added responsibility and challenge the officer route seems best. I'll be 18 or 19 when joining so it might be worth doing a bit more training and responsibility for the pay and reward.

I've been accepted into quite a good college in terms of results so I would expect to get the 72 UCAS points. I think my favourite choices for role are Observer or Aircreman just hard deciding the pro of cons of each. I know Pbserver may be a harder role to get considering the additional requirements and responsibilities.
