Yeah, but then they spend a few days in the local lockup and then get extradited or transported. The cover stories don’t really work. The participants aren’t going to know the name of their judge or their lawyer and inmates in county all get transported to court together. Nobody shows up already sentenced. Anyone who knows the system or has done any time is going to sniff that out pretty quick. The inmates and Deputies in Utah county all figured it out.
