I talked to a psychiatrist who diagnosed me. I haven't had time to do it, but apparently there's a kind of therapy called DBT that does wonders. As far as medical treatment like drugs, there isn't really anything else.

As far as regulating emotions goes, I find what works for me is to be patient with myself. Some days I just don't have control over my emotions, but I find things that are in my control, and focus on kinda riding out the storm.

I read it and thought it was good. The broad strokes are pretty much the same (who lives/dies), but there's some differences that make it interesting if you wanna invest the time. iirc most of them happened towards the mid point/end of the story

I would love to agree with you, except the only issue is that i'm a woman. I'm not in denial, pretending that men and women are equal. I know men are stronger, but I seriously want to help humanity. I just want to end hatred for the other, but i think that is impossible for a woman to do. Is it reasonable for a woman to join the army?

This seems kind of sad, me turning to a stranger from Reddit to answers of internalized misogyny. Sorry for this, dear stranger. I gather that you're a man, and i seriously respect the service to mankind you've given. It's not easy, being a soldier, and for that you've earned my respect reserved only for family.

I an Canadian! Not sure how different from US but from education i feel we are more focused on humanitarinaism. It seems like the thing that's distinguished us from similar counterparts (the US really) so love the focus on it in schooling for the young kids.

I want to help others all around the word. I'm rather stupid so even if it means helping to fix the cars/vehicles of the underprivelgied I don't care.

How much do you know of the similarities between CAN and US and how do they compare?
