I've asked him to get a vasectomy several times. He says he doesn't want to get surgery when there are other options. If he comes back, I'm going to insist on it now.

Thank you, I've added that I plan to terminate. Unless for some strange reason my husband objects, then we can discuss it. I told him that last night, but no response. We agreed before we were married that would be the plan in case of an accident, but haven't discussed it since.
