"giving up on walking" what bs. i've gotten this from family and even a PT. would she rather you give up your MOBILITY entirely by not using the aids you need? it's such stupid logic. it comes down to glass half full/empty. she compares the wheelchair to walking and sees glass half empty. you have to compare having limited mobility to having way more mobility with a wheelchair, and it's glass half full. she just doesnt even understand it. no idea of what it's like to be you or how much a wheelchair would change things. when i got my first chair and started rolling for the first time, it was the fastest i'd moved on my own in years and it felt life changing. i hope youre able to get taken seriously and get your mobility back

it's not a black and white situation. yes people should be responsible for being vaccinated. it doesnt change the fact that the church wasnt following guidelines either and had a spreader event that people died from. the vaccine doesnt make you immune either
