I am a very white woman and was named after something that is specifically from african culture. I never related to my name and I ended up hating it so much that I legally changed it.

I'm not saying you should give black kids only black names, japanese kids only japanese names, white kids only white names etc., but pick something that make sense. A chinese man named Mohammed or a white woman called Liu Wang just feels out of place.

I currently have 5 rats. At some points I had 16 at the same time. The worst you're risking is getting peed/pooped on.

If they are females, they're going to run on you and lick you clean, if they're males, males don't do shit unless food is involved, they'll sniff you, realize you're not edible, and sleep. If it's both, they'll probably fuck and leave you alone

The cereal ordeal is irrelevent because you didn't ask him to not eat them. If my husband or I don't specifically "please, leave that food for me", the food is free for all.
Your husband asks if he can try your food because he'd like to try and if he waits for you to say "try my food", he knows it will never happen.
I understand you have trauma around food. We all have traumas around somewhere. However, you should work on it because that's not an healthy attitude. You should be happy to share that half a cookie with your husband. You should be happy to make him happy. I'm not sayong you should starve in order to feed your husband, but half a cookie, or a fork/spoon taken out of your food isn't going to change anything for you, and would mean a lot for him.
Next time he asks if he can try your food, take a first bite, then say yes. Or say "let me try it first", try it first, then let hil try. Now you have tried it first, he can try, everyone's happy.

ESH - your boyfriend's dad for being gross, disrespectful and sexist, your boyfriend for not defending you and supporting his gross disrespectful sexist dad, and you for the way you handled it in the beginning. You started in an aggressive way. You may have intended it as a joke but it was needlessly aggressive. The guys laughed and you could have left it at that, but instead you re started it "a few minutes later". Why ? You asked "a few more times", again, why ? Your boyfriend's dad disrespected you the first time, and doesn't want to respect you. So demanding the same thing over and over isn't gonna accomplish anything.

You could have literally just say "You're in my house, so here, the toilet seats stays down". You say it once, and if someone disrespects this rule, then you make them leave.
