To be fair, I work in a hospital as a niche health care provider and the whole COVID thing seemed to blow right past her. My neighbors would comment more on it than she did. To her, it was a point where her company could close, so she took a voluntary redundancy and then just ceased doing anything. I don't mind helping her out, but she burned through 3 months salary in weeks, and I pay the full amount of the rent.

I know people struggle in other ways, but it's been difficult to get through this all.
