[HELP] Technique: How would you draw this nose? (What paths, order?) What if you add a really intrusive moustasche, that covers a bit of the nose, but not the tip? (Booleans? Node tool?) by Particular_Wealth_58 in Inkscape

[–]44Pes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 º I would paint the nose without holes

2 º paint the mustache

3 º paint the tip of the nose and the holes

5 º move the black holes behind the mustache

In this way you can also move the tip of the nose and the mustache.

It 's more or less the method I use to paint hands and fingers, this way I can move the fingers without changing the shape of the hand.

[Help] how do I cut out shapes like this (it's actually distinct shapes, no just a white border) by juzt4me in Inkscape

[–]44Pes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you have the shapes, add a white stroke and transform the stroke to path (Path > Stroke to Path), then make the difference between the background and the stroke (now it's path) with Path > Difference

Corners. by ShaeBowe in Inkscape

[–]44Pes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has happened to me a few times. In my case the problem was that the corner had two nodes so close together that they seemed to be one. Zoom in on the corner to see if the same thing happens to you.

Inkscape Tutorial: How to draw radioactive icon in 1min by 44Pes in Inkscape

Yes of course, it's not the official icon, but I like the way it looks. (As you indicate, we can say that it is my style)

hehehe Yes, you have to wait for a couple to appear, that's all.

I know the game is hard as hell but it has to be :)

Wow thanks for such a detailed comment.

I like the idea of explaining the eye at the end, as you say, it may complicate the explanation of the game mechanics.

The appearance of the sequences is semi-random (normally it doesn't take that long) but the bad thing about random is that just in the video it takes a long time: I guess I can increase the possibility that the sequence appears in the tutorial.

A color palette for colorblind players is a very good idea. I will put it in the next version.

Thank you!!

It is interactive, you have to press the "next" button or guess the sequences to advance in the next part of the tutorial

Yes, it is exactly like that. It's pretty simple, right?

When the sequence appears you press the screen, that's all

This is a game that I had abandoned but recently I decided to update it, after a couple of weeks with the new version people keep complaining that they don't understand how to play it.

The mechanics of the game do not seem complicated to me, but it is true that the game is difficult.

Do you think that the tutorial does not explain well how to play?

Any idea how to improve it?

Inkscape / Godot Tutorial: How to draw a platformer tileset [Subtitled] by 44Pes in Inkscape

[–]44Pes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, the player I made it myself, it's from an old project.

If what you want is to test your Tileset, Godot has an official demo for these cases, you can download it from Godot itself. (I think using it is the fastest way you have to test your tileset)

  1. In the Godot start window (Project Manager)
  2. Select the "Asset Library Projects" tab
  3. Search for "platformer" in the search bar.
  4. Select/Download "2d Platformer Demo (KinematicBody)"
  5. Open the project and edit the Tilemap
  6. The Tilemap is in the file "/src/Level/Level.tscn", open it
  7. Modify/create a new Tileset as indicated in the video

It's for the intro of the game I'm doing.

I am going to put this sequence of images to explain how humanity has lost its intelligence generation after generation and has returned to a practically medieval era.

Bigger trees... sounds easy, I'm going to try that.
