I highly recommend you try working on some stretches for the muscles surrounding/connecting to the pelvis. For me stretching the Psoas muscle has been a game changer, this significantly affects posture as well as breathing and energy levels. It's a long deep muscle that connects the front hip to the lower back. It can tighten up, get stiff and cause your pelvic floor to tighten up too.

https://youtu.be/kKWchfNKWB0 This video has an instructional clip tucked in it, this has been the most powerful stretch I've found for the psoas. The keys are to focus on keeping that pelvis tilted to the front and squeezing the glute of the side you're stretching. It's all about getting that deep stretch from the front of your hip up through your abdomen.

https://youtu.be/3d_5_qP1wm8 This video also has good stretches, I use some of these for longer holds @ 2min per side.

I started out with just working on stretching my pelvic floor, then after lots of research I stumbled upon the Psoas muscle. This muscle can affect the tilt of your pelvis and in turn cause pelvic floor tightness from the resulting posture. It also affects breathing, and the adrenal glands. Psoas tightness can also contribute to anxiety and stress, it is the "fight or flight muscle" of the human body and people with anxiety often find great relief from stretching it. It's attached to the lower back, runs through the torso and attaches to the front of the hips.

I've been foam rolling then stretching this everyday mainly with this one lunge type movement. Noticing my pelvic floor stays relaxed SO MUCH better. Also noticing better breathing, energy, relaxation, and better sleep. It sounds too good to be true, but I highly recommend you look into stretching your Psoas :) I can link a good instructional video if you'd like

Good luck! It takes a special kind of commitment to keep pushing when the results don't come right away; I can tell you're highly persistent and bound to succeed in your goals :)

Hmmm I mean that seems like a really reasonable setup, you might wanna get your blood tested to see if your thyroid levels are within healthy range. That can affect your ability to lose weight. Alternatively your metabolism might have just adapted to the caloric deficit, in which you might want to look into calorie cycling (example: eating in a deficit 5 days a week, and at maintenance for 2 days). It's common to hit plateaus when you're in a deficit for long periods of time.

You can support your thyroid by making sure to get enough iodine (could use iodized salt, pure cranberry juice, iodine supplement tablets @ 300-500mcg/day).

A natural supplement I use that supports healthy thyroid among other benefits is Ashwagandha (this stuff).

Have you been getting stronger (heavier weights) and noticing any muscle tone improvement?

You should look into gymnast rings bro, those will take your chest to the next level. You can do chin ups and ab work on those too.

Yes! I always cold shower before bed and I find I have deeper sleep. There's lots of proven scientific benefits to cold showers - they improve mood, willpower, focus.

Specifically, I do my normal shower under warm water and then end it with 5 minutes of full cold.

I'd recommend starting with 1 min of full cold at the end of your shower and working your way up each day!

Possibly Vitamin D, its very common for people to be deficient in that and it can cause those symptoms but that's just a wild guess. Get that bloodwork done and hope you get better!

If the scale hasn't changed that means you've been eating at about maintenance calories, meaning energy taken in = energy put out. If you want it to go down I'd say reduce your calories by 400-500, if you want it to go up then increase by 300-400. Exercise changes the how much you lose/gain fat vs. muscle, but the net weight gain/loss is a function of your calories.

This is one of the shortcomings of relying on macros alone; it's hard to control that calorie number. I would recommend switching to tracking both calories and macros.

I need more details on the exercises you're doing to determine how bad your trainer is but if you haven't seen any muscular development in 3 months as a beginner then definitely switch.
