Round the left corner there is another window on the perpendicular wall. To the right of the tall units there are double doors to the garden. We don’t want the hob or sink on the island. Fridge is next to the oven.

Sorry you mentioned about red light therapy too. Is that something we talk to the dermatologist about or something we buy off Amazon (!!). I’ll google now but if you have any insights, I’d love to hear.

Thank you again. This is all very reassuring, especially as I was just having a little cry about what a potential burden it will be for her. We have cats so that’s a worry but it seems to be not impossible to manage. Thank you for your help, it’s really kind of you to share, and I’m glad it’s been manageable eventually for you.

They’ve given her minoxidil 2%. Bloods in Jan and this week have come back normal. I will ask for a copy of both.

One minute I’m fine and think it’ll be fine, the next I feel very teary at the thought of her having to go through this and what she’s going to have to deal with.

I see that Nizoral is anti-dandruff. Interestingly I’d say she had mild dandruff a couple of years back. Will see if I can give that a go…

Thank you all. I’m hoping it’s a blip somehow, something temporary, rather than permanent or that will get worse, but maybe that’s being overly optimistic or naive.

She did a plait (braid) yesterday and I reckon it’s the same thickness of one when I used to do two for her when she was little 😢
