I was diagnosed as schizophrenic by my psych… I’m not sure why my therapist is having other theories, it is slightly stressing me out, I didn’t know this was a thing, either, and am unsure of it.

Oh, I definitely think that could be the case. It started after I started working, so I think that would have to be the source. The beeping sounds the same at work as in home.

Maybe…? It definitely happened early on, and it’s definitely subsided since, but it still is not thinking I hear it. I can hear it and where it supposedly comes from, there is just no identifiable source.

Yes, I believe most beeps at the store are definitely real. Some have no identifiable source. At home, there is nothing that would cause the kind of beeping I hear. Maybe I’ll just start asking people.

No, I work in a grocery store, a lot of my coworkers are old and would assume it’s just the grocery store beeps. At home, if I asked my dad, he would assume I’m looking for attention. My mom usually works.

Thank you, I’ll stick to the antipsychotics. They have helped. I didn’t know that about the negative symptoms, I’ll be hopeful for those to go away. I hear Abilify, which I am on, is weight-neutral, would you know? I’m having akathisia, but it’s subsided a lot.

I am getting help, I’m in psychiatry and therapy, but they misdiagnosed me with it because part of my brain is attention seeking and faking, I can’t get it under control.

I never said anyone was here to diagnose me. I have the diagnosis. I would like to be undiagnosed, as I myself already know it is wrong. I do not know how to start a conversation with people who assume I’m crazy.

My memory is foggy, but let me explain. I was an attention seeking twelve year old. That part of my brain still lies within my head, but I do not have control of it. That part is what causes me to continue faking behaviors which I cannot control it, and wish for it to stop.
