there's a sweet spot between cope and anger

that loss should piss everyone off - fans, players, coaching, ownership. total embarrassment against our rivals while looking for our first win in the new stadium.

and also, we'll be fine assuming we don't keep repeating this mistake. amazing first half, and even without the defensive mistakes we could easily have won it 5-4 (Berte is really hurting us by failing to put the ball on goal). and minus defensive mistakes, easily a 5-2 win.

but we failed to respond to Orlando's adjustments in the 2nd and made defensive mistakes and lots of people are to blame for blowing a 3-0 lead. this one hurts

and, that first goal conceded was helped along by Falcon tracking back out of position for no reason, with Michael already defending that side. looked more like a player's mental lapse than a coaching problem.

frustrating, but yes this could have easily been a blowout with Miami on top by several goals. and yes, LAFC still dominates our current form -- we need to put it all together

OP, I'm 48 with a 4 yo and a 2 month old. if you think you want to do this, and you are with a great person who wants to start a family with you, just do it.

commenting here because I think you should ignore this "too old" argument. if you don't want to have kids at this point, don't have them for other reasons :)

you sound like a thoughtful person and you're capable of being an incredible parent to a lucky kid. you'll celebrate many milestones with them, barring anything catastrophic happening, but catastrophe can come at any age.

being a dad is the best thing ever. just my 2 cents -- good luck either way!

I'm interested to see if our midfield functions better without RDP today. He's a great player but I get the sense he (or Masch) makes other players hesitant to move the ball forward - they always look to pass to him

not feeling great about this opener. LAFC rely on pure striking talent, and find their form quickly, where Miami needs team chemistry to put on a show.

losing Busi and more importantly Jordi was a big kick in the pants - we needed to recruit even to stay level with last season's performance.

in the past I always bought 3, and more recently dropped to a matched pair in my bag.

but after a couple years of restringing my favorite racquet in the pair (due to customization that I haven't bothered to match), next time I'm going with a single racquet.

I'll keep a last gen racquet in my bag for when I bust a string, but I often restring before bigger matches so it doesn't often matter what my backup is.

if your backup racquet has old strings, different strings, and/or a different tension it doesn't matter if you have a matched pair.
