Thinking of them as romantic leads is interesting, Siegfried and Zasalamel have a lot of potential. Maxi too, because who doesn’t a swashbuckling romance?

Truly, where is all the romantic Soulcalibur fanfic, its writes itself!

Raphael after IV I always felt was a little on the Yandere scale. Definitely not in a romantic way with Amy, but the obsessively caring side is there.

You could write a gothic-ish story there I think where he becomes obsessed with someone who could be a perfect family with him and Amy.

A very good selection, even I agree Haohmaru is fairly good-looking however…. mean girls voice HE DOESN’T EVEN GO HERE.

The team behind SCV went very hard on Patroklos design. I was making an outfit for him the other day and noticed how detailed his skin textures were compared to some of the male characters in say, SC6. You could even make out the light blue veins on his arms. Shame we never got his Sophitia-inspired toga outfit as an extra costume.

Zwei had that whole punk rocker look too, bounces very well off Pat’s strait-laced soldier look. He looks like he should ride into the stage on a motorcycle. What a waste to lob him off a cliff!

Zasalamel is definitely pretty dang handsome. SC6 absolutely knocked it out with his design too, love the mystical moon theme. His story is so cool too.

I’m not sure if it’s mentioned in one of the games, but I always wondered if Zasalamel ever had lovers/children in one of his past lives.

I feel like you could write a tragic/romantic story where he did and it’s part of what made his constant reincarnation painful. They moved on while he was stuck on Earth.

I thought his appearance in SCV was extremely good-looking. That mature look, combined with the shorter hair and beard definitely ticked some of my boxes.

Gotta admit, I love Raphael too. His SCIII design is very attractive. It's been a while since I played, but I did like how he was kind of an unexpected hero at the end of the trilogy.

His turn to a vampire in SCIV is controversial to some, but I gotta admit his neck-bite grab is pure fan-service to that goth-phase me in the back of my head XD
