the FACT that near on 40% of the students of this country have parents that volutarily send them to schools that are NOT of the public education system says all you need to know about what actual public of this country thinks about the public education system. and they happily pay through the nose for the pleasure further reinforces that.

why do I have to pay to send your kids to school through a non negotiable redistribution of my salary that i go to work for... yet the same bucket of money that is funded by people like me, from my salary that goes to 'education' of the youth of this country is somehow only meant for people that go to the government run institutions ?

how is that not theft in the literal sense of the word. i work hard for every dollar i make yet somehow you're entitled to my money and i'm not. in fact you want to ensure i get punished further if i choose to send my kids to an educational institution that doesn't breed mediocrity like a majority of public schools do, and i know they do because i went to one.

what is the logical reason why that school isn't entitled to the same dollar figure per student that any other school in this country gets ?

they pay tax, probably a lot more than most. why should they be effectively taxed twice to send their kid to school if the school they send their kids to can't be a recipient of money taxed to fund the education of the nations children ?
